A collaborative group composed of the College of Community Health Sciences, the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, City and County School Systems, FOCUS, and other interested groups could provide guidance on how to increase availability of affordable healthy food choices and exercise opportunities for the community, as part of the rebuilding process. There could be grant funding available for such an initiative.
