I would like to see the area small businesses supported in the rebuilding process. Many small businesses were struggling in this area before the tornado outbreak. They may not have been impacted by the storms, but they were previously impacted by the construction slump.

I hope that the people who live, work and pay taxes in this area will be chosen to supply building materials and supplies over large companies who have nothing invested in our community other than the opportunity to make a profit.
