We've all touched on the asphalt parking lots that line one of the busiest shopping areas in town and most of us have talked about adding more landscaping. I am a huge proponent of landscaping in general, but also landscaping the parking lots. Other than the campus, the 15th Street and McFarland area is one of the busiest areas of the city for locals and visitors. It would be nice if we could make this area beautiful with just simple landscaping. The university has done a good job of landscaping the area where some of the parking lots are located, west lot in particular and we could even use them as an example.
