There are too many business and homes that scoot right up to McFarland Blvd. The city needs to acquire property along the road as it can. There are so many businesses closed and lots abandoned on McFarland south of Hargrove Rd that can city can up now.

It's better to be proactive rather than reactive on this because some day McFarland WILL have to be expanded (see my idea to make it a controlled-access road in the Infrastructure section). We don't want delays from having to deal with eminent domain proceedings then.
