Not only the size, but also the proliferation of billboards needs to be strictly regulated by city ordinance...and not only along the interstate. Both 15th Street and McFarland Blvd. are (were) shamefully unsightly because of outsized signs, and their intersection was completely hideous. I suspect the electronic billboard there is also distracting to drivers.
