Due to its geographical location, Alberta City has the opportunity to become a destination of its own. People gravitate to artistic and cultural venues by living near them and spending their money there. Street front art, theatre, and music studios and galleries would blend well with residential and commercial entities (some of which could reside within the same structures). Green spaces (including recreational and pausing areas) and bicycle and jogging lanes extending west to the University and north to the river could make Alberta City a truly magnificent “gateway” into or exit out of Tuscaloosa.
