When Tuscaloosa rebuilds, there is no reason not to transition to newer energy. Not to say take business away from Alabama Power, but solar power uses the natural energy from the sun and can power an entire house or neighborhood. And we have plenty of tall building downtown where noone would even see them.

The only situation where I see solar panels as not being a benefit is when you have to cut down trees to put them up. People need to be environmentally conscious when they rebuild.
