We are learning so much as a community about what it will take to recover from a disaster. What if we take that learning and package it into a tornado/disaster resource center? Maybe it includes information from the building industries on building better, information from scientists about the science behind natural disasters, information about financing available after disasters. Maybe it's more of a clearinghouse of information, but if we made it a part of our permanent landscape, we could become the "go to" place for communities from around the country to learn about responses to disasters.
