Passive Houses are super-insulated tightly built houses that use only 1/10 the heating and cooling energy of a regular house.

To my knowledge there are currently no Passive Houses in the Southeastern United States. Building a Certified Passive House goes above LEED standards and would bring positive attention from the media.
