The future of Tuscaloosa has the potential for and the certainty of change. Those of us who remember the Tuscaloosa of 50 years ago want to be assured that progress does not push out familiar names and faces in favor of 'new', 'green', 'sustainable'.
Those who have made T-town what it is by their hard work and presence over the years need to be honored, not pushed out by too stringent building codes. Let's make sure there is room for grace.
