Bike friendly (bike lanes, bike racks), heavy on public transit, public recycling bins, curbside recycling and compost, pedestrian friendly (wide sidewalks, bridges over railroads), green roofs, solar panels, reusing runoff water for city landscapes, reducing styrofoam use, community gardens that will donate to the local food bank, village centers with businesses that encourage walking (cafes, post offices, libraries). A truly sustainable model city that will promote both the health of its economy and citizens. I really want Tuscaloosa to shine.
