My 14 year old son is constantly being asked not to skate in places in this city. We spend alot of time in colorado in the summers because of my work. Ft. Collins has an amazing "kid friendly" community. There are bike lanes everywhere around the campus and town but there are also places for the the kids to skate and rollerblade all over town. In your designing of new parks and "kid friendly neighborhoods would you please consider at least one skate park for the kids? Greensboro, AL and Dauphin Island, AL which are very small communities have skate parks for the kids. These would be at your own risk and my son and I can research different skate parks and prices. The city is limited in what it offers kids who enjoy other things besides traditional sports.
